My neighbor, Barbie, and I decided to throw together a little dance party in honor of our birthdays. (Mine was Oct 7 and hers was Oct 10.) But really it was just a good excuse to throw a partay! We had people dress up in their favorite dance decade's attire. It was so much fun! I couldn't decide what era to do, but finally ended on the 1950s and made Claire and I matching poodle skirts. They turned out pretty cute if I don't say so myself!
Nate's costume was easy - just a white shirt tucked in with rolled sleeves...don't they look so cute together?

But I have to say that the highlight of the night was the DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) competition! We brought our TV and three dance pads over and had them all hooked up to compete. We couldn't believe how into the guys got. Most of the time, the pads were taken up by three guys!
